An Inbound Warehouse Supervisor oversees the inbounding of all deliveries; local, imported and returned items from the stores, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of receiving, reports updating and planning of daily headcount corresponding to the workload and monitors attainment of productivity versus target. He/She reports directly to the warehouse manager.
Responsibilities
- Oversees daily inbounding process – shipment and pull-out receiving
- Coordinates with the importation group and broker for the schedule of arriving shipments
- Assigns and allocates manpower for the fulfillment of receiving taking into consideration the agreed SLA’s
- Prepares and submits daily, bi-monthly, and monthly reports needed for the day-to-day operations
- Assists the Warehouse Manager in creating and championing policies and processes that would ensure effective and efficient order fulfillment workflow.
- Together with the WH Manager, creates and implements solutions to reduce errors in checking, barcoding, and wrong posting.
- Works closely with the warehouse manager to optimize fulfillment speed and cost.
- Trains, monitors, motivates, and coaches inbound personnel and document processors
- Provides high-quality customer service to internal and external customers.
- Assures the security of the facility and the integrity of the inventory
- Maintains safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, warehouse area, and workstations neat; Organize warehouse and work area for orderliness at all times
- Responsible for other tasks completion that may be assigned from time to time.
Minimum Requirements/Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering, Commerce, Logistic/Transportation, or any related course
- 3 to 5 years of experience in Ecommerce/Logistics industry.
- Background in e-comm fulfillment management, Lazada, Shopee, or equivalent.
- Candidates with e-commerce, and warehousing experience will have a distinct advantage
- With knowledge of the e-comm logistics markets
- Knowledgeable in Microsoft Office applications
- Highly data-driven and technology-enabled
- Strong analytical skills with an understanding of the operational system
- Must possess the following competencies: time management, planning, organizing, leading, analyzing, problem-solving and decision-making, performance management
