The Accounts Executive is a business development professional who plays a crucial role in driving sales and managing client relationships. They are the primary point of contact for assigned accounts, focusing on understanding client needs, proposing solutions, and building strong, long-term partnerships.
Responsibilities
Lead Generation & Sales
- Actively search for new business opportunities by identifying and qualifying potential clients through various channels. This may involve cold calling, attending industry events, or networking that will lead to sales.
- Manage clients, fostering open communication and understanding specific requirements. This involves regular meetings, presentations, and addressing any concerns to ensure client satisfaction.
- Present compelling sales presentations and proposals that showcase the company's products or services in alignment with the client's needs. This requires strong communication and presentation skills to effectively convey the value proposition.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms to secure deals that are beneficial for both the client and the company.
Sales Reporting and Analysis
- Track key sales metrics, analyze data, and report on progress towards targets. This enables them to identify trends, adjust strategies, and measure success.
- Recommend strategies to address trends or results of sales reports and align with stakeholders to address any issues/concerns.
Other Management Tasks
- Ensures the implementation of standard procedures and policies in relation to key accounts and sales function
- Ensures that the company-allotted budget is effectively managed and optimized
- Performs other duties assigned from time to time
Minimum Requirements/Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Management, Business, or any related course; Master’s Degree an advantage.
- At least 3 years experience in Sales, Marketing, Project Management, or equivalent
- Demonstrable experience in sales presentations and pitches.
- Shows good knowledge of potential client pool listing and business partners
- Significant experience in a specialist role, operating with a high degree of autonomy within a regulated procedural context
