Primer Group of Companies and R.O.X. (Recreational Outdoor eXchange) has once again showcased its unwavering commitment to corporate social responsibility (CSR) by spearheading a transformative initiative in collaboration with Remote Area Medical Philippines, a non-profit organization dedicated to delivering basic medical aid to people in the world's most inaccessible regions, Armed Forces of the Philippines, and other partners. Their recent endeavor, spanning from March 1-6 in Tawi-Tawi and March 15-17,2024 in Batanes, highlights R.O.X.'s dedication to making a tangible difference in the lives of others.
This remarkable mission involved the delivery of the remaining R.O.X. bikes—rescued from the pandemic's grip—and crucial medical assistance to communities in need. Despite facing logistical hurdles, the collective efforts of the team ensured the successful execution of the mission. This is to support the Bike For Health initiative; the mission aims to provide a means of transportation service to local health workers, enabling them to deliver medical care to the outer regions of the island.
Leveraging medical expertise, Dr. Roy and the team played a pivotal role in providing healthcare assistance and facilitating the distribution of bikes and medicines to underserved communities.
