The Kaprimer Cup 2023 recently brought together employees and guests from Primer Group of Companies for a series of sports tournaments aimed at fostering teamwork, friendship, and healthy competition. Held at various venues, this annual event saw employees from different SBUs (Strategic Business Units) showcasing their athletic prowess and sportsmanship in basketball, bowling, badminton, e-sports, and volleyball competitions.
Basketball
The Kaprimer Cup 2023 Basketball Tournament featured eight teams in a round-robin format, held at St. Anthony School. Over a span of several weeks from July to September, these teams displayed their basketball prowess in pursuit of victory.
Ultimately, it was UIGPI that secured the gold, with PIML claiming silver and Box Me taking home the bronze. The tournament showcased a blend of Primer Group of Companies' SBUs and guest teams, such as security and housekeeping, adding an extra layer of excitement to the event.
Volleyball
The Kaprimer Cup 2023 Volleyball Tournament featured just two teams in a best-of-three game format. Held at St. Anthony School on August 2, 9, and 16, the competition was intense and thrilling.
The "Red Team" triumphed, securing the gold medal, while the "Blue Team" displayed remarkable sportsmanship and claimed the silver.
Bowling
The Kaprimer Cup 2023 Bowling Tournament, held at Adriatico Living, Robinsons Place Manila, was a bowl-tastic bash that took place on September 21, 28, and October 5. Seventeen teams, each consisting of five players, participated in this high-stakes competition, entertaining the enthusiastic Kaprimers audience.
When the dust settled, it was the "Obien Strikers" who emerged as the gold medalists, followed by the "PDC Logistics Bowlers" taking the silver, and the "Root Canals" clinching the bronze.
Badminton
The Kaprimer Cup 2023 Badminton Tournament, hosted at St. Anthony School on September 29 and October 4, featured 16 teams. With two players per team, they battled it out in a knockout format, impressing the Kaprimers audience with their skills and agility. The winners of this competition are BRONZE: TEAM P for Bronze, TEAM H for Silver and TEAM I for winning the Gold
E-Sports
The Kaprimer Cup 2023 E-Sports Tournament, held on September 19 and 26 at Primer Worplays, saw nine teams competing in a knockout-style contest. Each team, consisting of five players, showcased their gaming expertise to the Kaprimers audience.
When the virtual dust settled, "Team from ICT" stood victorious, claiming the gold. "Team from F&A" secured the silver, while another "Team from ICT" secured the bronze, cementing their place in the annals of Kaprimer Cup history.
