Early 2021, Primer Group of Companies announced its promise to deliver free vaccination for all of its employees. By providing COVID-19 vaccines to all of their employees, Primer honors its commitment to protect their employees’ health and well-being, to support the nation’s efforts to build community defense against COVID-19 and to play its part to speed up its economic recovery.
“Our COVID-19 vaccination efforts revolve around what’s most important to us: the health and safety of all our employees. We believe that this is a huge step forward in bringing this pandemic under control, and getting vaccinated when you are eligible is important to minimize the risk of severe illness from COVID-19” Jimmy Thai (Jimmy), CEO of Primer Group of Companies, said at the onset of the vaccination program.
As 842 Sinovac vaccines arrived for the employees of Primer Group of Companies, Primer partnered with MedGrocer to operationalize the vaccination program. Primer opted to conduct the inoculation in several batches to ensure that proper social distancing protocols will be followed.
Primer Group of Companies commenced the rollout of their #WeWinWithVaccines vaccination program on July 10, 2021. The first batch of vaccination took place at Hope Christian High School in Manila, where over 150 employees have gotten their first dose of the vaccine.
The next batch of the vaccination will take place in the second week of July. After this, all employees will be given their own schedule for the second dose of the vaccines. The main goal of Primer is to have most, if not all, their employees vaccinated before the year ends in able to create herd immunity to ensure the safety of all employees. With Primer’s HR team’s hard work in organizing this vaccination program, it seems that the group is about to reach their goal.
As this vaccination program continues to reach its fruition, Jimmy says to his employees: “Thank you for your ongoing efforts to keep the Primer Group community strong, safe and healthy. Together, #WeWinWithVaccines”.
