The Primer Group with Gurango Software Corp
Goals were set and the deal was inked between The Primer Group and Gurango Software Corporation at the kick off of another major project this year for the Primer Group, the Human Resource Systems Automation Project.
In a special event attended by the company’s top executives, Jerry Sy, Susan Thai, Ralph Funtila and Angie Sangalang and Gurango Software CEO, Joey Gurango, the project team presented its overall objectives, project scope and timelines.

“To find out the solutions needed by your company, we need to immerse ourselves into your business, and find out your objectives. But we can only do it if we work together,” Gurango said.
Project Lead, Bryan Ayroso, AVP for HR Services, attuned with Gurango’s statement, saying that the project needs the unity of the project’s functional experts to ensure that the software entails all the elements and functions it needs to make it work in harmony with the Primer Group’s processes.
“This project is not going to be a walk in the park. It will harbour hard work but just think of all the benefits we will reap once the project is up and running,” he said.
The Human Resource Systems Automation Project aims to enhance the organization’s current procedures on timekeeping, payroll processing and employee information and records management. The project will also integrate various HR functions and services including talent acquisition, performance management, training, consequence management and benefits administration. The systems shall include SmartTime, for timekeeping, DynamicPay, for payroll processing, and SmartHR, for the other HR core functions.
Another function of SmartHR is the Employee Self-Service (ESS), which allows employees to have their own dashboard wherein they can file leave requests, loans, official business and timekeeping, and receive special corporate announcements.
The Human Resource Systems is expected to be completed and ready to serve the employees by January 2014.
