Merchandising Associate for E-Commerce

The Merchandising Associate for E-Commerce maintains product information by uploading new and updated product information sheets; Prepares and analyzes product sales and inventory reports; Coordinates with brand merchandisers to ensure product availability.


  • Custom build product lists to support editorial and email marketing of stock availability to ensure lists are commercial
  • Monitors daily incoming product to ensure the pages are maintained and updated.
  • Regular auditing of available products online to ensure it is appropriately represented with the customer in mind.
  • Commercially aware with sales focus to help maximize conversion and cross selling.
  • Ensures proper flow of product to websites in support of the category/brand vision
  • Achieves sales and profitability by consistently reviewing and appropriately editing product lines, ensuring there is a balanced SKU assortment in style, pattern, color, and size.
  • Works in tandem with planners, analyzing past sales figures and current trends to anticipate future product needs and devise a merchandise plan
  • Provides support and sales strategy to Marketing and Retail Operations with sales and inventory reports
  • Ensures proper pricing for all products specific to the eCommerce strategy
  • Partners with Brand Teams to source products for web including opportunities for web exclusives
  • Updates website merchandising to accurately reflect both eCommerce and Concept Retail sales, trends and initiatives


    Minimum Requirements/Qualifications

    • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree , Engineering (Industrial), Business Studies/Administration/Management, Marketing, Commerce or equivalent.
    • Required skill(s): MS Excel.
    • At least 1 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
    • Preferably 1-4 Yrs Experienced Employees specializing in Merchandising or equivalent.
