May 18, 2022 - Primer Group of Companies’ store employees and the rest of the retail team finally gathered face-to-face at Primer’s headquarters in Leon Guinto to celebrate Primer’s annual sales rally.
Primer’s Sales Rally is one of their employees’ most highly anticipated events each year. Typically, hundreds of Primer employees get together in person to celebrate the previous year’s achievements while also looking ahead on how they can continue to meet their full potential and maintain Primer’s industry-best standards. In the previous year, their Sales Rally was held virtually, making this year’s event extra-special as they all met face-to-face for the first time since the pandemic began.
Spirits were high as the day started. KaPrimers registered and lined up to receive their complimentary snacks and drinks as well as their KaPrimer giveaways before they took their seats in Primer Workplays’ amphitheater.
Hosts Moses Arceo and Ciarah Pacheco hyped up the crowd as they welcomed Executive Director, Jerry Sy, who empowered the KaPrimers as he led the opening remarks.
Once all was settled, Primer’s Digital Expert Albet Budahim introduced the event’s Guest Speaker, Jojo Ajero who gave the KaPrimers tips and advice on how to Level up, Elevate, Advance and Develop & diversify (LEAD) which was the theme of the event.
After the inspirational talk, hosts Moses and Ciarah led the activities that turned 2022’s Sales Rally into an event that was one for the books.
Once the activities were finished and the ice was broken, the Retail Mancom Head, Ms Dinah Yau Lim (Dinah) took the floor to review last year’s performance and the new year’s strategy.
Dinah then introduced Tiff Batungbacal, Ruby Rull Tungul, Maynard Bulosan and Marisel Sy to further support the business directions.
The closing remarks were led by Primer’s President and Chief Executive Officer, Jimmy Thai as he thanked everyone for attending the event. He also showed his gratitude for everyone’s passion and the hard work that they put into what they do. He continues to tell everyone that as he grows older, he was able to witness the company’s growth and development and he hopes that everyone continues to be guided by the ISTEP values.
The night did not end after the president’s closing remarks as those who wanted to stay at Workplays continued to take part in the after-event open mic.
Laughs were shared, gratitude was given, successes were celebrated. The open mic ended the event on a good note, leaving all employees excited for the next sales rally.
