The MANSMITH YOUNG MARKET MASTERS AWARDS (Mansmith YMMA) is one of Mansmith and Fielders, Inc.’s advocacies. This award aims to provide inspiration to people working in marketing, sales and entrepreneurship by honoring achievers 35 years old and below, who excel in the said fields. Those who have received the YMMA awards have proven that they can make things happen by formulating and implementing responsive and creative marketing and sales strategies that change the way business is conducted in their fields.
Primer Group of Companies was filled with pride when it was announced that Primer’s Digital Marketing Manager, Patet De Guzman was one of the highfliers who were included in the list of awardees of the 16th YMMA awards. She now currently stands as the fourth KaPrimer who is an awardee of Mansmith’s YMMA awards, following Roel Chan (6th YMMA Awards), Tiffany Batungbacal (10th YMMA Awards) and Llander Simon Cham (14th YMMA Awards).
She received the Mansmith Young Marketer Award of 2021 for Digital Marketing. “It’s always your goal to win awards you enter, but never expect it. You look at the previous winners and their accomplishments and you know there are a number of deserving young marketers. So, when the deliberation day came, and we were asked to be on standby in case there were questions about our entries, it was nerve-wracking and when they did not reach out, I could have only hoped for the best. So, it was a (great) unexpected surprise to get that personal congratulatory message from Mr. Josiah Go.”
Patet has been a part of Primer Group since 2015 and she has led its digital marketing team to becoming a Facebook Marketing Partner since February 2021, showcasing the excellence that she and her team brings to Primer. All her hard work led to a total growth of 400% in eCommerce with campaign ROAS from 0.4X-6X to a high of 92X.
“Getting this award makes me feel that all the hard work we’ve done over the last couple of years is validated. It gives me motivation to continue to be better, to improve and most importantly to give back to Primer Group of Companies and Aeroworx” Patet states.
The YMMA awards is all about honoring the achievements made by young folks of their field. “The YMMA award, personally, builds recognition and credibility to what I’ve been doing not only for myself, but for Primer Group and Aeroworx as well. It will only motivate me to work ever harder” Patet says.
The YMMA award Patet received will stand as an inspiration not only for those who are in the same industry and field as her, but for all the young achievers in Primer who wish to make a mark. Patet adds: “Primer Group and Aeroworx is just starting, and there’s so much more to do, and so much room for growth. This is only the first step.”
