HR Business Partner

The HR Business Partner will engage the functional leaders in the organization, and be directly responsible for supporting and delivering the human capital strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Supports managers and leaders who make critical talent decisions within a specific geographic region, business or function
  • Performs workforce planning and metrics (e.g. hiring, retention, overall attrition)
  • Monitors HR Labor cost (salary and benefits) - actual, available, budgeted, commitments
  • Acts as a strategic partner to senior leaders, acting as trusted adviser on organizational structure and effectiveness, succession planning, leadership, diversity and helping attract, motivate and retain talent
  • Contributes to business strategy by helping leaders identify, prioritize and build organizational behaviors, structures and processes
  • Supports managers in forecasting and planning their talent pipeline requirements in line with the function/ Business Unit strategy
  • Acts as liaison between business leaders and HR to ensure that HR services are aligned with internal client needs
  • Ensures HR practices are compliant and programs manage risk for sustainable long term growth
  • Executes and implements HR policies, plans and programs
  • Provides strategic leadership, including leadership for change
  • Ensures the implementation and application of agreed upon HR directives, policies and processes, systems and programs throughout the local legal entity or at the specific site organization and strives for best practices in the standardization, harmonization and alignment of local HR activities, but always with the business requirements in mind

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Human Resources or related field and/ or equivalent combination
  • 5 to 7 years HR experience; handling shared services account preferred.
  • A broad depth of HR knowledge and experience across all areas of HR: employee relation, staffing, compensation, performance management and OD (organization structure, leadership, development/ assessment and coaching, change, retention, engagement and culture), training, benefits and in partnering with HR Centers of Excellence
  • Strong in English communications; Experience working within various cultures would be beneficial
  • Experience working in complex, global environment
  • Experience and proven track record in working across the core HR functions
  • Ability to take an assertive stance with all levels of business partners and challenge and influence their decision making around HR matters while keeping relationships intact
  • Ability to collaborate and partner, while keeping on point, in a matrixed and influence-based organization
