Dr. Martens kicks off strong in Singapore as they officially launch their “Tough as You” campaign, along with the opening of their flagship store in Funan Mall, the country’s latest digitally savvy, social retail space.

On September 12, 2019, Dr. Martens flagship store rocked Singapore’s most well-known and classic retail icon Funan Mall as over 150 media, influencers, and Dr. Martens loyal patrons gathered for a multitude of fun activities during the store’s opening and the campaign launch.
Primer International Management Limited Managing Director Mark Chim and Dr. Martens’ Asia Pacific President Juergen Strafe welcomed guests with messages that are warm yet highly packed with energy.

To show that those who wear Dr. Martens are as resilient as their boots, which is what their campaign “Tough as You” embodies, the event featured wildly creative tattooists Gabriel & Josephine, and lettering artist Ewejin Tee who unleashed their creativity and went all-out in customizing Dr. Martens footwear.
Guests also pushed their luck at the raffle draw and enjoyed a great end to the event as they jumped to their heart’s content as they jammed to the music of the live band Veritas.
To continue the launch of Tough As You campaign, Dr. Martens organized a private workshop on September 15, 2019 with lettering artist Ewejin Tee for consumers to customize their personal leather piece which they can use as a coaster, key chain, wall décor, among many others.
