Bratpack recognizes that there is "No Victory Too Small"

For the past couple of years, Bratpack has been channeling its energies on being a part of the youth’s journey. Whether it be through hitting the streets and immersing in various pursuits, telling you to “Go Ho-Ho-Hoarding” during the holidays because you deserve it, or through saying we’re “Up for Summer Downtime because you are, Bratpack has proven time and again that it has every young-year old’s back covered. As a new season comes into full swing, Bratpack is quick in making sure that the kids are all right!

This time around, the focus goes to the struggle of everyday and understanding that the youth are often burdened by a bag of mixed emotions. Seeing how tough life can be during these tricky times, Bratpack rolled out their latest campaign that aims to encourage and inspire students and young professionals alike to see the good in every challenging situation. In comes No Victory Too Small, a campaign that recognizes all sorts of wins — the kind that’s accompanied by a big trophy or grand title, and even just a one or two ticks off your to-do list for the day that makes you say a silent “good job, self”.  Bratpack aims to be that friend; the constant and the cheerleader that will celebrate every “up” and help find the silver lining in every “down” in one’s life.

To culminate this campaign, Bratpack held the “Bratpack Recognition Day”, an event celebrating the small and big victories that the youth have already accomplished thus far.

Held last August 31 at the Greenbelt 5, the event invited the public, especially members of the youth, to join in the fun. Select media representatives, influencers, and local artists also attended the event.

On the day, guests were welcomed with a custom enamel pin bearing the campaign handle to wear as they went through the celebration, and a giant Jenga block for an installation in the store. First thing to greet them inside was the Hall of Victories, a gallery of images from the campaign that presented their message and the various awards by Bratpack ranging from the likes of the “Dirty Laundry Defeater Award” to the “Acing Deadlines Award”. Fun fact: some of the models that represented these victories are actual fans of Bratpack who got connected through the wonder that is social media.

After browsing the gallery, the guests then went to the Stack Up on Your Small Victories installation. This is where the giant Jenga piece that was handed out comes in: guests had to write any small victory they’ve had recently — anything they’ve done that they’re proud of, really — on the block and then place it on the stack. This installation was symbolic; physically representing the idea of how small victories, when stacked up, form greater victories the same way each individual’s little feats eventually lead to something big, too.

The fete was then kicked off with a short but sweet brand talk courtesy of Bratpack’s brand manager, Paolo Reyes, followed by an enlightening and empowering talk by Christine Grace Catindig, Cultural Affairs Specialist and Education USA Senior Adviser at the U.S. Department of State, or US Embassy, here in the Philippines.

Soon after, the guests began to immerse themselves in the exciting series of activities in-store like the Face Your Ghosts area where a friendly Pac-Man tournament ensued, promising the person with the highest score a prize from Bratpack. There was also Cheers to Your Beerctories, a game of beer pong with a little something extra. In this game, when a person shoots a ping-pong ball into the cup of the opposing team, the opponent would have to state any big or small victory within 5 seconds. Victories can’t be repeated. If they successfully do so, they don’t have to drink from the beer cup and they can proceed with their turn; if they don’t, classic beer pong rules apply. This goes on ‘til one team loses by emptying all their cups on the table — and of course, the winning team gets a little something from the match.

More activities were tucked in the store to keep the celebration up: a Polaroid photo session with Artu Nepomuceno as he roams the store and artfully captures the guests; a live art session by Jappy Agoncillo translating the campaign on canvas through his distinct style; live music by Garage Morning and Sofa Sky to maintain the vibe; a free shoe cleaning area courtesy of Sneaky; free bottle customization for those who purchased a Hydro Flask bottle; a VR game by JanSport where guests got a chance to win prizes; and free stickers for all purchases made on the day. Amidst the bustle in every corner, Bratpack kept everyone on their toes with a raffle draw every half hour featuring goodies from different brands.

A live musical performance from up and coming bands Garage Morning and Sofa Sky capped off the event and left guests with a day to remember.

They capped the program off with their version of an awarding ceremony, the highlight of which was the grand raffle draw for major prizes. The lucky winners came up and had to say a victory they’re celebrating before they got their prize. The invited guests were also able to take home a bag of curated treats from Bratpack.

To this day, Bratpack champions the youth by rallying messages and offering products that complement and support their lifestyle, passions, and culture. Dedicated to fostering creativity and ingenuity among the young and the free-spirited, Bratpack believes “No Victory [is] Too Small” because every little move towards one’s goal is always an inch closer to success — and that is worth celebrating.
