Timbuk2 Indonesia recently collaborated with Westbike Messenger Services (WMS), an alternative courier service that uses bicycles instead of motorbikes to promote eco-friendly options for delivery. Several Timbuk2 bags were given to the messengers to contain goods to be delivered such as documents, mails, and other packages.
In return, WMS created a video that recaps the entire process from pick up of items to the actual delivery to receivers using their bikes and Timbuk2 bags.
This project is also in collaboration with wearinasia.com – a local e-commerce site selling apparel, shoes, bags, etc., and this is one of their ways to promote Timbuk2 on their site. Should the customers opt to have their orders sent via WMS instead of other courier services, they’ll receive special discounts and promotions.
In their continuous efforts to promote health, fitness, and green initiatives, Timbuk2 Indonesia will continue providing support to the WMS community as they expand in other key cities in Indonesia like Jogjakarta, Bandung, Surabaya, and Lampung.
